Gentle, Polite, and Professional — Dr. Karleen Trefil
In February I woke up with numbness and tingling in my left pinky, ring and middle fingers that traveled up past my elbow. By afternoon, when the tingling was still present, I started getting concerned. Additionally, I was experiencing lower back pain (more so than usual) and figured I had to do something before other body parts started going numb or I could no longer move. I work 12 hour days as a dentist and couldn't risk being out of commission and unable to help my patients. My dental practice partner had mentioned in the past that she saw Dr. Johnson for her similar work related aches and pains so I texted her for his number. By late afternoon I got in touch with Dr. Johnson's office and was immediately scheduled as an emergency patient for the next morning.
Before seeing Dr. Johnson I had never been to a chiropractor and was rather worried my head would pop off when he started cracking away. Not a rational fear but a fear nonetheless. The morning I saw him I still had the numbness on my left and such bad lower back pain I had to push my fear aside and keep the appointment. For those of you unfortunate enough to have had lower back pain you know what I mean: hurts to sit, stand, walk, bend, and the slightest touch in just the right spot is agony. Dr. Johnson gently did a thorough exam and worked miracles. Okay, "miracles" is a tad strong, but after acupuncture, cold laser therapy, hand manipulation and other fun things I had feeling in my left forearm and fingers the next day and the lower back pain was decreased and to me that is a miracle. After only a few visits and treatments I was doing great and my head was surprisingly still attached- again another miracle!
Due to my career I am constantly bending over patients and putting extra strain on my back, neck and shoulders throughout my workday. Since seeing Dr. Johnson I am more aware of my warning signs that a problem area is in need of chiropractic care. After visits I feel marvelous. Even better is that now with a proactive approach my treatment doesn't require his entire bag of tricks to save me from my neglect. I always stress the importance of preventative dentistry to my patients. So now, as a patient myself, I follow Dr. Johnson's advice and I make sure I get regular, preventative 'tune-ups'. I've even gotten into the habit of enjoying massages from Jessica.
Dr. Johnson is gentle and can work miracles if you let him and follow his recommendations for current and future needed treatment. Dr. Johnson and his staff are always polite and professional. I am very thankful to be a patient of Dr. Johnson's and highly recommend him to anyone in chiropractic need.

Dr. Kirk Johnson has helped me stay healthy and active. As a nearly 50 year old, couch potato to exercise enthusiast, I have had some injuries that Dr. Johnson has helped with. He has been able to get me into the office to be seen quickly and have been able to walk out feeling much better. Deborah has also been helpful in working around my busy work schedule. As a health care professional, I have been pleased and grateful to Dr. Johnson and his staff. I highly recommend his care. Previous to meeting Dr. Johnson, I had been ambivalent about seeing a chiropractor. I am glad I went.
Excellent, Professional, Comprehensive Care — Terry
Dr Johnson provides comprehensive wellness service delivered professionally in a comfortable, modern clinic. He has successfully treated me for issues ranging from back pain to diverticulitis control. Not all are aware that a chiropractor can assist with issues other than bone, muscle and joint issues, but they can when they practice chiropractic care as Dr. Johnson does. In fact, his treatments have forestalled gall bladder surgery for my wife as he has helped her keep her issues related to a nonfunctioning gall bladder well in hand, to say nothing of the relief she gets from him during her migraine headache episodes. Highly recommend you give his services a try and decide for yourself!
Effective and Caring — Debora
Dr.Kirk Johnson has been my chiropractor for two years. I chose Dr. Johnson because of his comprehensive and personable approach in bringing wellness to his patients. In using applied kinesiology and acupuncture graphing Dr. Kirk is able to pinpoint existing and underlying problems. He is gentle yet effective when applying spinal manipulation and seems to get the job done more efficiently than some. He has helped me personally in bringing balance back to my body after a long duration of stress. Dr. Johnson has also helped me identify food allergies, helped me in detoxifying and has brought relief from sinus issues using acupuncture. His office is welcoming and professional and I highly recommend him to anyone!

I would 100% recommend Dr. Johnson. Great location, office and staff. Personal and professional. I'm very impressed with his knowledge and skill as a chiropractor taking care of my occassional back and neck pains. But I've also learned his services are all-inclusive for improving health and identifying core issues behind the symptoms. I'm still learning about all the services he offers including working with injuries, testing muscles and body systems, nutrition, allergies, general health and more. I also did a detox program and accupunture treatment with noticeable results. Also the laser therapy he does is very effective for specific health problems. Dr Johnson cares about what you're dealing with and focuses on identifying the issues and applying an effective treatment.
